The value of the alloy

One material. Great possibilities.

Built for the demanding.

C95500, known as nickel-aluminum bronze, is a high-performance alloy composed mainly of copper, aluminum, nickel and iron, designed for demanding industrial applications.

Its main advantage in valve manufacturing is the combination of high mechanical strength and excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, erosion and cavitation.

These properties make it an excellent choice for valves used in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical and marine industries and in fluid handling systems, especially in corrosive environments and severe operating conditions.

The benefit? Stronger valves, longer service life, less frequent maintenance and greater operational reliability, provided the material is compatible with the process conditions.

About UNS Valve

Manufacturing standards

Valves manufactured to recognized standards.

We can manufacture to ASTM B148 or ASTM B763, with API 602 as design standard. Let us know which specification your project requires.

ASTM B148

Aluminum-bronze sand castings

Chemical and mechanical requirements for aluminum-bronze sand castings, the specification that covers UNS C95500.

ASTM B763

Copper alloy castings for valves

Requirements for copper alloy sand castings made for valve applications, available as an alternative specification.

API 602

Design standard

Design reference for small-bore valves used in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

Compliance with the selected specification is confirmed for each project.
